01 / About
Who operates this site
This website is operated under the name BSAviation by its organizers in Ohio, United States. BSAviation is not currently a registered legal entity. In this notice, “BSAviation,” “we,” and “us” refer to the people operating the website.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@bsaviatio.org.
02 / Information
Information we receive
If you use the contact form, we receive the details you submit:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- The area of interest you select and the message you write
The contact endpoint also uses your internet protocol (IP) address to limit repeated requests. The rate-limit entry is held in server memory and expires after one hour.
When you visit the site or load an outside resource, the hosting and delivery services may process technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details, and request time, to deliver and protect their services.
This website does not have visitor accounts, payment processing, a newsletter signup, or site analytics.
03 / Purpose
How we use information
We use contact details to read and respond to your inquiry, follow up when needed, and protect the contact endpoint from repeated or abusive requests. We may also use or disclose information when required to comply with law or respond to a valid legal request.
We do not use the contact form to enroll you in a marketing list.
04 / Contact messages
Contact delivery and service providers
Contact form submissions are not saved in a database by this website. The server first attempts to send a message through Resend, using Replit’s hosting and connector services. If server delivery fails, the browser attempts delivery through EmailJS. If that also fails, the site opens a draft in your email application; you decide whether to send it.
When a message is successfully delivered, it is handled in the BSAviation team’s email system. The website does not set an automatic deletion period for delivered messages. The email and delivery providers may also process or retain information under their own settings and policies.

05 / Cookies
Cookies and external resources
The current BSAviation site code does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use advertising pixels, or store contact-form details in your browser. We do not use optional tracking cookies, so this site does not show a cookie-consent pop-up.
The site loads Font Awesome styling from cdnjs and Google Fonts for the Partners page. The contact page loads the EmailJS library from jsDelivr. When your browser requests these external libraries or fonts, the providers may receive basic technical connection information; form contents are not sent with those requests. If you follow a link to a partner or another outside website, that site’s own privacy and cookie practices apply.
- Cloudflare privacy policycdnjs delivery network
- jsDelivr privacy policyContact-page library delivery
- Google privacy policyPartners-page font delivery
You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings. If optional tracking is added to this site, this notice will be updated and any required controls will be provided.
06 / Younger visitors
Children and families
This website has no age gate and does not ask visitors for their age or date of birth. There is no age-specific rule for using the contact form. Because BSAviation shares information about youth aviation opportunities, parents and guardians may wish to help younger visitors decide what information to submit.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information through this site, contact us at info@bsaviatio.org so we can review the concern and respond as required by applicable law.
Whether additional child-specific notices or consent procedures are required depends on how the site is used and the applicable law. The organizers should obtain qualified legal advice before knowingly collecting personal information from children under 13.
07 / Safeguards
Retention and security
The website does not keep contact-form submissions in its own database. Once delivered, messages may remain in the team’s email system until they are deleted. The site does not apply an automatic deletion timer to those emails; delivery providers may keep related records under their own retention practices.
The IP-based rate-limit entry is stored in server memory for up to one hour. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no online service or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
08 / Requests
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit the contact form. You may also email info@bsaviatio.org to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted. We may need to confirm enough details to locate the message. Any rights and response timelines depend on the law that applies to your request.
09 / Changes
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice when the site’s information practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the current version was prepared. Please review this page periodically.
